Ushering/Concessions (Commitment – Ongoing)

If you would like to help usher, please sign-up online at Bloomington’s Volunteer Local page. Once you have officially registered with the city, please reach out to the CBC office. We are specifically looking for a lead to coordinate concessions during intermission, and we would love to confirm you for this vital role.

Seamstress (Commitment – Ongoing)

Do you have a passion for dance and a talent for needle and thread? Continental Ballet Company is seeking volunteer seamstresses to help maintain our world-class costumes.

Your skills ensure our dancers look flawless and help us direct more funding to our performances and scholarships.

• Flexible Commitment: Whether you can help weekly or only during “crunch time” before a show, we need you!

• Impact: From routine maintenance to backstage emergency repairs during live performances, your talent is vital to our success.

Performance Closing Volunteer (Commitment – As Needed)

Continental Ballet Company relies on our community to help transition the theater after a successful run. We are currently seeking volunteers for:

• Post-Show Cleanup: Assisting with the lobby and backstage areas immediately following the final performance.

• Costume Maintenance (Laundry): Washing and drying performance gear. For your convenience, backstage laundry facilities are available for use.

Your help ensures our costumes and venue remain in top-tier condition!

Distribute Flyers (Commitment – As Needed)

Can you spare a few hours to help Continental Ballet Company reach a wider audience? We need enthusiastic volunteers to distribute event flyers and posters in their local neighborhoods and businesses! This is one of the easiest ways to donate your time and directly boost attendance for our upcoming professional performances.

What you’ll do:

• Pick up a packet of flyers from our studio.
• Place flyers at local coffee shops, libraries, community centers, and businesses.
